Back from chalet yesterday.

Day 1 we played murderer, heart attack and mahjong. Mahjong was still the best. Haha.. we switch players and 1 by 1 they went off to sleep. Soon, it was left with Clarice, Mel and me. We played through the night. Till about 7+, we were all so stone looking. We took so long to reply each other. Our reactions were slowed down.. it's like we took very long to process what's going on. Then all of us were like "Qu shui, qu shui!"

3 of us went for breakfast after that and we came back to sleep for a while. It was just a short nap actually. I can't remember why we didn't sleep for long. I think it was Mel, she was "nini nor nor, nini nor nor" all the way? Or was it another night? Well, too lazy to think.

We continued playing mahjong. Took turns again. Then went to the near-by park. The guys played soccer. As for us, we went to the swing. We got enough after we got dizzy and went to play frisbee.

The 2nd day I was feeling really sleeping. That night was bbq. The prawns were the most delicious but too bad I only managed to eat one. Back at the chalet, after my bath when I was still in the toilet, there was the on and off of the lights. There were blackouts now and then. Haha some of us were scared. There were screams and everyone rushed and crowd together. All went out and sat and squeezed at the couch. Haha but after quite a while got quite used to it so it wasn't scary anymore.

Michelle and I slept the 2nd night. While the rest were out playing. They were noisy so I didn't get a good rest too.. Haha.. And when they were back in the room about 4am, they woke us up again. Better still, they stole our blankets!

The next day, checked out of the chalet and it was bye bye to Aranda. Took pics before leaving and had breakfast at Delifrance at Whitesands.

Hmm right now don't know what I am feeling. Want to do something but it's like there's nothing I can do. But I don't wanna sit by and do nothing..

After 17 years, I finally went up to Bukit Timah hill for the first time. Here's what happened today..

I left the house, knowing that it was going to rain the sky. It was dark and gloomy but thought maybe it was clear at the west side.

Met everyone at Bukit Batok. To our dismay, it rained heavily and so we changed our plans. Rice got a backpack at her friend's warehouse. We walked out from there.. Decided not to take the bus and walk towards Ikea to have out lunch. Thanks to Lee Shit Ya! We walked in the "right" direction. It caused Clarice to slip and almost fall AND as a result, gave me a heart attack. In addition, we wasted our energy turning back. Hahaa.. well anyway heard of the latest saying? Never let a duck lead the way!

It seems like ages but we finally reached Ikea. Haha but well, that long walk was worth it cause the food was delicious. 2 thumbs up! We shared the roast beef, spagetti, chicken chop rice and the meatballs. Yum!

We then decided to go back to Bukit Timah hill as the rain stopped. Took the bus and jay-walked. Then I think it was Rice and Boots that spotted a police car then all I heard was screams and found them back at the road divider again . Gave me another shock! Hahaha.. but those police don't catch ppl for jay-walking. So phew..

When we reached, we were about to start our journey but it rained again! We stayed put in the shelter area and finally when the rained stopped and we saw a little sunshine, it was up the steepest slope I have ever seen in Singapore so far.

Took the red route and up and up we went. Were crazy at some times, singing the so called mountain songs and just plain chatting. Basically saw the flora and fauna and the many shades of green. It's simply, nature.

Up to a point, we went separate ways.. One really looked like a stairway to heaven and the other just a slope up. We met again later at the summit and took a rest at the benches. Well, not long after, it rained heavily again. It was relaxing. The cool breeze and the cold tiny droplets sprinkling on your face just feels nice. I laid flat on the bench and could easily sleep. Meanwhile, Shiya's husband came along.. with a big knife cutter! Hahaa the stupid ***e thing started. It was crazy man..

Yeah.. slacked for a while then continued our journey back down. The Amazing Rice Fast Forward was to jump down the hill.. Haha.. But anyway, we took the steps down. Those steps were really high. Then blah blah blah back down to the steepest part, we held hands and walk backwards down.

When all of us made it back down, went near-by for prata. Shiya paid the bill! Wow! It was a miracle so end up thinking of numbers to buy for Toto.. =X

Yeah.. a tiring yet fun day. Next 3 days going for chalet.. Hope it will be fun too..

How can anyone live without food?

For me, these few days are like all about food. Oops.. I guess I have been over-eating. Always having a bloated stomach after meals. But you definitely feel good. That's satisfaction.

What about life? What must you do in order to get satisfied?

It's like we never do. Our wishlists and wants always get longer and longer. We always want more and more. When does it stop? Where is the limit?

We all could get too obsessed sometimes to get what we want. Utimately, we get blinded and the most important things get neglected.

We have to be careful. The road ahead lies many obstacles as well as temptations. We got to be sure that we are doing the right thing. If a problem surfaces, we gotta think about a solution. No use running. No use hiding. We gotta conquer it and not do something to escape. Escaping is just temporary and so the problem stays and perhaps, it grows to a bigger problem or create even more problems. In the end, directly or indirectly, we might hurt our love ones. Love ones who are concerned and worried about us. So why do something that we know is wrong and won't solve our problems? We need to listen to other people.. We are not right everytime.

Had a nice sleep yesterday but before that it was shocking. Thanks to the stupid flying beetle! How I hate the sound it makes. Yucks!

Hmm.. Ate lunch at Serangoon Gardens with Dad and Bro and was planning to go meet Rice and Shell straight away after that but who knows they push back the time. From 2 to 3 to 4 to 5pm.. Haha.. I think the medical check up was a long wait. Oh wow.. they had like so many injections.. Awww.. =X

Hmm headed down to sim lim.. Bought my game then met Shiya.. walked around Bugis and settled dinner at Long John's. Discussed some stuffs but it things aren't really planned yet.

I am always happy when I am with friends. =)

Was thinking to blog yesterday night but needed to do last minute flip throughs on econs. I seriously hardly touched it. After coming home yesterday, I took out my notes but my eyelids were so heavy and nothing was getting in my head. There was no point trying to so hard to keep myself awake so I went to take a nap.

I woke up about 2 hrs later and it was already time to go off for dinner. It was my Mum's Bday yesterday. (Happy Bday, Mum. Love ya lots!) Went to PP's Summer House. Great stuff! Real yummy food. Ate to my fill and got a bloated stomach. We left after having our delicious meal and went hunting for a cake. It was quite late and we were not sure whether cake shops were still open. We stop by Esplanade to check it out and we managed to get it. Who can guess the price of the cake? Whoever who guesses the exact amount, I will treat them ice-cream! Hahaa =X

Came home for cake-cutting and boy, the cake was so good. Vanilla with hazelnut if I am not wrong. Haha and by then it was 11pm.. And...... I should not continue further.

Last paper today, anyway! I am glad it's over. Went Funan to eat some Viet food. Then went opposite to make a new spec. Suddenly I realised that I wanna buy lots of stuffs. Money is just so easy to spend but hard to earn. Zzzzzz..

Tagged along later to Jurong East. Nice time watching them skate. Lucky I didn't skate or I bear the heavier consequences. Just like Shiya.. ? Haha.. But.. I noticed that my knee is giving me problem quite frequently. Shit man.... can't stretch..

Anyway, had a nice cosy time at JCC. Nice place and enviroment! Hmm.. what's happening tomorrow.. =D

Stats, accounts, marketing get outta my way! Cleared my desk by putting away all those books, notes and papers that I had been tested. Now it's so much neater but the sickening econs is still left. Haa.. Really don't feel like studying anymore.. No mood to do so.. But come to think about it, it's the last paper and it ends tomorrow morning!

So gotta endure this very last day. Will try my best and whatever the outcome, what's done is done. Whatever we do, we gotta be positive and look at the bright side.

Anyway, went to eat roti prata at Jalan Kayu with Boots, Rice and Shell. We will be back for more.. =)

And.. in the midst, something awaits. I think it will be great fun. Well, I don't know. But I am sure Rice and Shell won't screw up the whole thing right? So how about a smashing, crashing, good time?

Had tuition with my bro but I won't say it lasted long. Haha it was nice though. Actually found that I could concentrate better and my distractions were cast aside for quite a while. Maybe it was because of the change in environment, his room? Or perhaps it's just nice to have company.

There was like a few breaks here and there. He didn't teach me much, in fact, because he was more engross in reading his book, "The parable of the pipelines." He told me the story which was pretty interesting. Well, the 'business' side..

That's how it started the chat which was fascinating. My bro thinks far, really far. When he sets his goals, he goes toward it. Yeah.. that's why I admire him. Such a determine person. It is no doubt that he will be a successful businessman.

Hmm what's my future like?

Got back home not long ago. One word, tired..

Today's stats wasn't what I expected which is good! Not a hard paper afterall. Anyway, don't think I am stressed out or pressurised. Don't think I am hardworking too because I am not. At the end of the day, I just want to feel that I tried my best. =)

Wanna take things slowly. Don't wanna to rush, don't wanna pressure myself or anything.

Anyway, headed down to orchard with my usual pals and just walked around. Gotta be rewarded sometimes, yeah?

Ok.. will a short rest..

Found it hard to concentrate yesterday. Felt restless and agitated when looking through the notes. Perhaps I really have no interest in accounts.. but still, I gotta try my best.

Taking a short break now. Focusing on marketing today. There's just so much to cover. Refering to the textbook can really kill. It's like studying humanities again. Open to any page and there's just so many words.. (Oh no, I think it's the same for econs..) Zzzz.. You feel that the words are drowning you. So sometimes, the notes really help. Haa..

Well, at least marketing is better than accounts.. Lol.. basically ya need to understand and apply the marketing concepts. Not the sickening debit and credit stuffs.. But anyway all business modules can really suck you dry.

MMmmmm.. my grandfather went out to buy some popiah. Will have it for tea and will continue studying after that.

Gotta control.. gotta wait.. it will be over soon. =)

Celebrated Shiya's Birthday on Friday. I sure hope she had a good time. Well, I know she did haha..

We all had dinner in the cable car. 4 in each cabin.. Nice and cosy atmosphere and great view from the top! It had been so long since I last sat in one and it felt so good especially with the company of friends.

Actually we were thinking to go to Mt Faber but it was kinda late and I don't think all of us wanna go. We called that off and just went down to an area by the sea to cut the cake. Yummy Blackforest!

I think the best past was when Shiya heard the cassette recording by all of us. She cried towards the end. It must be really touching for her. =P

We stayed there for quite a while before heading home. It was a last minute decision that Clarice and Peixin were coming over to my house. Haha we rode bicycle around the area. It's really nice riding so late in the night. It was peaceful and quiet and with the wind blowing gently against you, it was cool. We came back sweating, but had a nice cool shower.

We stayed awake for the whole night. Played cards and I had a pathetic nap of 15 mins. How time passed so fast was really shocking. It was 7am before we know it and we went out for breakfast. After that, Clarice headed for school and Peixin headed home, while I headed home to sleep!!

Had a great time but enjoyment stops for now. It's time to concentrate for the exams. I can do it!!!

Had a conversation with my bro and it was like a slap to wake me up. So much stuffs he mentioned was so true. But of course, he isn't right in everything because everyone have different opinions. We still make our own decisions.

Still, he's my elder brother and he has experienced so much more than me. He don't want me to make the same mistakes he had done. I mean, yes, we should not be afraid in making mistakes but never make the same mistake twice. So I know what my bro is trying to say...

Thought about it for a while and kinda realised I am thinking too much. I just need to set my goals and achieve them. I gotta believe and be confident and only then will I get to where I want.

My life is in my hands. I take advice but ultimately, I will hold the key to open doors and discover what lies ahead.

I'll make a quick one. Kinda lazy to blog.. hehe

Well, my bro got me involved in his project.. long story.. But, it's good exposure and experience too. Their group is trying to come up with a system to help improve communication between teachers and parents and etc.

Haha I supposed to wear formal but I won't say I was attired properly. Long story again! Anyway, I must say that the presentation was very good. The way my bro presented was like, wow! And their powerpoint slides were like so professional. I really got much to learn.. haha..

I thought of skipping my accounts lecture cause it was already about 7pm. But Michelle sms and told me there was a break so I just went later. Yeap.. that's about it..

Then just a while ago, the usual peeps were like talking on msn again. So much to think about..
Still gotta unlock many stuffs. Perhaps I haven't found the key..

Michelle came over to my house for project. Haha thought she stopped at the wrong bus stop or something cause I couldn't find her where I supposed to meet her. In the end she was sitting near the basketball court where I couldn't see her.

The main thing we supposed to do was the executive summary. Seems easy right? But guess what.. we took such a long time trying to summarise everything. What's more we ended up talking more than doing.

So we were like doing the report from 2+ to 7. Later had Nasi Lemak my mum bought and we sat down and watched the 7pm show. She left shortly at about 8.15.. accompanied her to the road and rushed back to watch the show.

Now I'm just chatting and listening to music. Yup, thinking and dreaming too.. as usual.. wow didn't know it's pass 1 already..

Just got back from NUH and it's bad news. The doctor was telling me that my recovery is fast and it was good progress. Felt relieved but then came "...Got to take the screws out sometime soon..." and I was like, another op? I was shocked when I heard it. I thought everything was over. Yeah it's just a simple op this time but who likes going for ops, especially for a third time in less than a year?

Sigh.. that means altogether, it's 3 operations. I really hate the feeling of going for ops. Everything just sucks.. =(

Tired and dizzy now.. need to take a rest..
